Terms and Conditions

GENERAL

The webshop www.monkeym8.com is executed by the company BAUTA AB, registered at Timsforsvägen 8, 12247 Stockholm, Sweden, with VAT registration number SE556614799601. All products remain the property of BAUTA AB until full payment has been made. All attempts to deceive will be reported to the Police. We reserve the right to correct any mistake or error printed on this site. Due to the digital format of photographs we can not grant that the pictures reflect the exact nature of the real products.

DELIVERY TIME

We will always try to ship your order within 1 business day from that you have made your order. Usually if you make your order before 11.00 AM GMT+1 we will ship it the same day. Orders placed on weekends and holidays will be shipped the next business day.

DELIVERY TIME BY COUNTRY

Sweden: 3-5 work days
Europe: 3-6 work days
USA: 4-7 work days
Rest of the world: 5-10 work days

SHIPMENT FEE BY COUNTRY

Sweden:
Order below 249kr will have a shipping fee of 29kr. All orders in Sweden exceeding 250kr are free of charge and all orders are fulfilled by Posten (MyPack).
Return fee is 75kr.

EU:
Shipments to all countries within EU have a free of €5. The shipments are fulfilled by Posten Nord (Standard).
Return fee is € 10.

None EU within Europe:
Shipments to countries within Europe but none EU have a free of €10. The shipments are fulfilled by Posten Nord (Standard). All duties and tax will be added to the cost.
Return fee is € 10.

USA: $25
All shipments are fulfilled by UPS (3-days).
Return fee is $15.

Rest of the world: 30€

We ship to the following countries outside of EU: Canada, Greenland, Argentina, Brazil, China, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Australia and New Zealand. The shipments are fulfilled by UPS (Standard).
Return fee is 30 €.

SHIPMENT INFORMATION

Posten (Sweden)
You will get an email notification when your order has been shipped, with your parcel tracking number. You can check the status here:

Posten will deliver your parcel to your mailbox. However, if it is too big to fit in, it will be delivered to a hub near you and you will be notified by the post where to pick it up.

UPS:
You will get an email notification when your order has been shipped, with your parcel tracking number. You can check the status here: http://www.ups.com/

UPS will deliver your parcel to the delivery address given in your order. If you are not available, UPS will call you, why it is important that you give your mobile phone number when you register your details.

Orders are shipped out from BAUTA´s warehouse in Stockholm

All prices shown on products include 25% Swedish VAT.

IMPORT TAX AND DUTY (FOR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION)

When ordering from countries outside the EU, you will need to pay import Tax and Duty according to the local rules in your country at the delivery of your order. The amount of Tax and Duty to pay is different in every country. UPS will invoice you for the Tax and Duty together with a disbursement fee of around 18 EUR (170 SEK) for the customs clerance service. UPS may in some cases ask you for upfront cash payment of the Tax and Duty.

PAYMENT

You can pay with Visa, MasterCard and PayPal. No fee is charged for card or PayPal payments. For purchases within Sweden you can also pay with Klarna Faktura. Klarna Faktura costs 39 SEK. For Card payments we cooperate with DIBS who provide the card payment service with 3DSecure. The transaction of credit card data is encrypted. Sandqvist do not store any credit card data.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

You have the right to return your ordered products within 14 days of receiving the products, given that the product is unused and in its original condition. In case of exchange or return, you will pay for the return shipping, and BAUTA will not refund any shipment or payment costs. In case of a quality claim due to a damaged or faulty product, we will replace the product free of charge or refund what you have paid, including the shipping cost. We follow Swedish laws in case of returns and disputes.

RETURN SHIPPING

If you need to return a product, please contact us at [email protected] and we will send you a return waybill. The cost for the return freight is 75 kr within Sweden, 25 USD in the US, 10 EUR in Europe and 30 EUR for the rest of the world, and will be deducted from the payment refund to you. Use the same bag your order was received in. Stick the return waybill over the old waybill and return the package to the delivery service. Please note that you as a customer are responsible for the goods until they reach us, why it is important you keep the tracking number and notify us the tracking number.

PAYMENT REFUND

In case of a return we will refund your payment, with the shipping costs deducted as described above. Any payment costs related to the purchase will not be refunded. We will refund the payment to your card or PayPal account as soon as we have recieved the product back and confirmed that it is unused and in its original condition.

QUALITY CLAIMS

If you need to make a claim regarding your MONKEY M8´s product purchased at www.monkeym8.com due to a flaw in its quality, please contact us at [email protected] We will evaluate the defect and try to help you. Claim rights do not apply to defects caused by wear and tear or incorrect usage. To verify that the product was bought at a www.monkeym8.com we ask you to always present the original purchase receipt or web order number in case of a claim. If you contact us by email, please explain the reason for your claim and send along high quality images of the defect plus your web order number or a scan or photo of your receipt. We follow Swedish consumer laws in claim cases.

For MONKEY M8 products purchased at an other retailer (ie not at www.monekym8.com) we kindly ask you to contact the retailer with your claim, and they will help you.

If we approve your claim, we will:

1. Send you a new product free of charge.

2. Refund all that you paid for the product including shipping fee and if applied tax.

TRANSPORT DAMAGES

If a package is damaged at arrival, you should report it immediately at the site. If you have opened the package and detect a damage, please contact us.

We will not accept any reported transport damages that are not reported to us within 1 week after delivery.

UNCOLLECTED DELIVERIES

A package will be kept at the delivery Post/hub for 14 days. If you don’t collect it and it is returned to us, we will charge you for the costs incurred, 300kr within Sweden, 50 EUR in Europe and 60 EUR in rest of the world.

PERSONAL DATA

According to Swedish law, we have to ask for your approval to treat your personal data. All the information you give us or that we get when you visit our site will be handled responsibly and safely by BAUTA AB. The information will be used to enable us to fulfill our business responsibilities to you and for marketing purposes. BAUTA AB will not provide your personal data to a 3rd party for marketing purposes unless you agree to it. If the personal data is incorrect or irrelevant, you have the right to request that it is corrected or deleted.

FORCE MAJEURE

If BAUTA AB fails to comply with the agreement because of unusual adverse circumstances outside of its control due to force majeure such as strikes, civil unrest, war or natural catastrophes such as earthquakes, volcanic action and other similar matters, then BAUTA AB cannot be held responsible.
